Cherokee County is comprised of the following Cities/Towns: Gaffney, Blacksburg, Cherokee Falls, Kings Creek, and Smyrna. It is located 50 miles North of Greenville, SC and 50 miles South of Charlotte, NC. The 1990 Census found the population of Cherokee County to be around 45,000.
